“The Dora Milaje are women who pledged their lives to the throne and to the security of the kingdom. My character, Okoye, is the general of the armed forces as a whole. The Dora have a way of fighting that was supposed to be inspired by
moving as one. The Dora work together to take down
somebody, like the fight we have with Killmonger.” — Danai Gurira

OK I’m gonna need an entire movie of the Dora Milaje and the Amazons training against each other and having their own version of an Olympics/Ninja Warrior competition.

And then sitting down together after to drink and revel and tell comradely war stories

Absolutely.

Valkryie should come too

OK but when the Amazons and
Dora Milaje

find out she’s the only one of the Valkyrie left? And they all just look at each other and imagine all of their sisters being gone. Being the only one to survive.

Then they hold a series of games of strength and skill to compete for the honor of adopting their newest sister.

Valkyrie watches the games screaming and laughing and drinking her ass off until it gets to the final challenge, the best Amazonian warrior versus the best of the
Dora Milaje

in single (non-mortal) combat. Right at the height of the fight, she suddenly barges into the ring and takes them both on herself.

And wins.

And sure, it’s all been about fun but the other two warriors are just a tiny bit pissed that they got beat.

Valkyrie slings an arm around each of them and says “Don’t feel bad, yeah? I trained The Hulk.”

HEADCANON ACCEPTED 100%!!!

In the vast world of comics, I wonder if there have been heroes with a “Groundhog Day,” type power. By that I specifically mean a hero who, if they die, immediately finds themselves waking up at the beginning of that day again. If they don’t die, they just continue forward through time.

I’m just thinking of how crazy it would be to have that hero on your super hero team. Like, you go to headquarters in the morning, and it seems like everything’s normal. But then you go to fire off a one liner, and they say it at the same time as you. And suddenly you know. Something went wrong.

And then one day you come in, and your heart drops as you see that their every move looks rehearsed. They answer questions before asked. They are totally aware of everything that’s about to happen. Imagine how scary that would be, realizing you’re starting a day that you’re team mate has failed to survive maybe dozens of times.
