so i’ve watched this scene like a million times and have only recently noticed pepper’s t-shirt
like she’s wearing this
and it fits her just fine, so maybe it’s not tony’s
imagine pepper being excited and comfortable with her new relationship with tony and going online shopping for cute science-related t-shirts and finds this one and immediately buys it
and when she wears it the first time tony looks at it and wants to roll his eyes so hard but instead this hearty laughs comes out of him and he closes his eyes while putting his head on her shoulder and thinks how much he loves this woman
On the one hand, I agree, but on the other I think pepper probably owned this shirt completely separate from her dating tony.
Like, she met tony because he made a math error that she caught. She’s working for SI, as his assistant, in a position that probably requires her to know a lot about what he does.
Pepper is probably a huge nerd in her own right.
It’s just that once she starts getting comfortable around tony, that’s when she stops being concerned about always looking like a 10000% efficient Business Woman and started wearing casual science joke shirts.
’I mean, Ben’s still the youngest writer to ever win an Oscar for screenwriting. I’d be the youngest if it weren’t for Ben. Fucking asshole.’
Of course, this is still a rollicking adventure tale and no adventure is complete without a love story. And, yes, these books have one — the longest, most tortured one in Marvel history, in fact. We’re talking about Steve and Bucky, without smirking or innuendo or raised eyebrows. Platonic though the relationship may be, from the meet cute to the tragic separation, their bond has all the elements of a classic romance. These two men love each other — as any pair of friends who faced exclusion, combat, inhumanity, and death would. Their bond stretches across half of the twentieth century. The loss of it gnaws at Steve throughout modern day, and it slices his heart in half when the Winter Soldier rears his tormented, homicidal head. Just as Jeph and Tim’’s earlier Daredevil: Yellow, Spider-Man: Blue, and Hulk: Gray all dealt with the major love interests in, the heroes’ lives, so too does Captain America: White. Steve and Bucky are each other’s soulmate, if you will, because no one on Earth understands what either of them has been through as well as the other does. These books deal deftly with the strengths and weaknesses that relationship engenders. As the Red Skull himself says to Bucky, “The Captain has a…‘soft spot’ for you. A spot I intend to put a bullet into this very evening.” Soldiers fight for their country. They fight for themselves. They fight for each other. And sometimes they die for these things, too. The ones who don’t, carry the memory of the ones who did for the rest of their days. Steve Rogers is no different.

i keep seeing people talking about how sam and bucky really actually dont like each other and like thats not the case at all???
like in this scene after sam says no and bucky moves over you can literally see him start to smile in the last split second like whens the last time someone said no to the winter soldier™ whens the last time someones first instinct with bucky wasnt fear??? lowkey buckys having the time of his life
and then in this scene!!!! bucky literally jumps in front of sam so peters kick would hit his arm instead of sams chest
and then after this when they get outside sam tells steve to take bucky and go which would in turn get sam and the others arrested???? the levels to this shit???
like just because theyre petty assholes to each other (lmao) doesnt mean they dont genuinely care for each other and wouldnt ever let anything happen to each other, stop sleeping on sambucky theyre #Pure and #Real
anyone who’s read the comics knows how much Sam and Bucky love each other. Comics aren’t MCU, but I got the feeling that once they fought Spider Man together they were okay. I took Sam’s “I hate you” to be an “oops oh yeah” as to why he didn’t use Redwing earlier.
and some people are really aggressive about discounting Bucky’s tiny smile in the first gif. If it’s in the movie, it’s in the movie. Bucky can smile for people other than Steve.
