This comic meant a whole lot to me. It was sincere in its depiction and treated the issue through the eyes of a grounded person. Not some godly hero saying everything is better than it seems, but a person trying his best before bringing her somewhere who can actually help.
The amazing thing about this is that in the newsreels Bucky is played off as a ridiculous sidekick to hide the fact that he’s out there brutally killing people, and Steve is literally sitting next to a professional killer and STILL acts like his complaints are adorable.

I was always so confused about if Joss Whedon had seen The First Avenger. Because Steve swears in the movie. Not like hard, its a PG-13 family movie, but he does swear.
I think Joss Whedon falls into the same trap as bad fic writer, where he thinks Steve is a farmer from 1950s Kansas instead of Irish Catholic kid from 1920s Brooklyn.

Marjorie Liu, who wrote Johnny briefly during his appearance in Daken: Dark Wolverine #4,confirmed on twitter very recently that Johnny and Daken had a sexual relationship.
Johnny’s bi/pan/polysexuality is canon now, although, probably because of the Fantastic Four’s current lack of popularity, not one sound was made about it in the media or in the Marvel fandom.
It’s not as if there’s nothing in canon itself to back up Liu’s statement. In 2005′s Spectacular Spider-Man #21, Johnny openly admits to having slept with at least one nonbinary alien:
