TBH one of my roommates is the absolute worst FUCKINF “I listen to classical music and am therefore WAY better than ANY of you” type and it’s so irritating. We’re hanging out just listening to music and each taking turns making a request and she’s like “uh play this movement from this symphony” or “play this piece” like Jami and I are both music students and we at least kinda enjoy classical music because we gotta play it all fucking day but we acknowledge that like we’re having fun having a party and when we’re like no let’s not listen to that she’s like “you made me listen to that stupid Lil Yachty that’s not REAL music” yes Katie we did because we’re here having fun we don’t wanna listen to the finale of Mahler 5 because it IS HALF AN HOUR LONG

Jami just played Migos and she was like “um what’s the point of that song? Why did they write that stupid song? There’s no point to it! At least Beethoven wrote with purpose” like OKAY OKAY WE GET IT SHUT THE FUCK UP
