So someone asked me a million years ago to elaborate on what I’d do with a Wonder Woman TV show and I had an entire sub-section planned on “How do you solve a problem like Steve Trevor.”
This is definitely a better solution than anything I had considered.
In fact I’m even tempted to say we should do a whole run where he’s still her love interest despite this. Just, all of him, in aggregate, whichever one happens to be there. If one dies she freaks out and mourns and it’s like a South Park Kenny thing, she’s just back with the next one the next day. Her reaction to him never changes no matter who he is, like she doesn’t even notice he’s a person, he’s just a specific role in her story that could be filled by a sexy lamp if need be. See how uncomfortable we can make Grant Morrison.
Sad update everyone, Tama recently passed away… An estimated 3,000 people, including railway officials, attended Tama the cat’s funeral on Sunday, days after she died of heart failure aged 16. [x]
For those who haven’t read articles about it, the local shrine elevated her to a god. She’s now the Eternal Stationmaster and patron god of the station.
Beautiful.
Now I’m crying thanks
and a new cat was hired right?
yep! her name is Nitama (essentially ”second tama” or “tama II”) and she served under Tama as an apprentice before being appointed her deputy
she works very hard
Everytime this crosses my dash, I reblog. It is the law.
Law
I’m crying at 11pm over train cats
Nitama, already now a mature cat (born 2010), has a protege named Yontama (fourth Tama, b. 2016). There is no information available for either the physical befellment or tragic self-disgrace which has removed Santama from contention.
^Nitama majestic, and below with Yontama
Yontama.
a legacy
I’d just like to add that there is a ‘Santama’, whose name was ‘SUNtamatama’ (the capitalisation is not my own, it’s in the actual name). They were sent to Okayama prefecture for station-master training. The Okayama PR rep Mister/Ms Y, who was looking after SUNtamatama then refused to let go of the cat, saying something along the lines of, “This child is ours and I will not let them go, they will stay in Okayama”, and so SUNtamatama remained in Okayama.
my friend’s sister is an animal behavioralist and said that the reason aren’t many lesbian penguins because girl penguins don’t traditionally do mating rituals and just wait for their mates to come to them so really there’s no difference between lesbian penguins and lesbian humans
And my first thought was closet. Just an ordinary, tiny, New England closet.
But no!
There are STAIRS in that closet!
Now where do those stairs go, you may ask?
Up to the black void attic of course.
But you know, it doesn’t seem to end there.
Because for reasons no one seems to know, this door deadbolts from inside. There’s nothing but a black void up there. Why must it lock on that side of it???
Of course, it was then that I spotted something else.
Why yes, those ARE scratch marks on the inside of the door. Which, one might think dog because they’re so low on the door (only a third of the way up).
But you know, this wouldn’t be fun if that was all there was.
That deadbolt has scratches all around it too.
Funzies!
Because guess what.
That deadbolt is five feet off the ground. And there is no dog in this house tall enough to reach it.
Pretty sure I just entered a horror film.
Gotta love Boston architecture.
You’re friend’s a werewolf don’t be afraid just support them.
