Saw a dad giving his daughter advice to go to a women’s college so she’d become a “proper feminine young lady” and the flashbacks I had made me cackle so hard I thought I broke a rib
as someone who went to women’s college for a bit, women’s college is where you go to became a radical feminist fighter who will literally never put up with patriarchal bullshit ✌️
Why men think women in mass will organize to just hold on to antiquated feminine standards mostly perpetuated by men will never cease to anger me. Hell, even organizations run by nuns have been cited as hotbeds of lesbian relationships and intense feminist thoughts
ORGANIZED WOMEN DO NOT GET TOGETHER TO TALK ABOUT WAYS TO TAKE CARE OF MEN. THEY ORGANIZE TOGETHER TO TALK ABOUT WAYS TO FIGHT THE PATRIARCHY
so please go my sisters, go to women’s college, learn how to destroy all men in your life with a better education than they could ever dream of
Seriously though, I went to an all girls Christian school and whenever I tell people about it they think it was really strict and harsh and outdated and I’m like ??? No?? We were constantly taught about the importance of feminism and strong women. We studied more female authors in English than co-ed schools. We were all pissed when we didn’t get to learn about Cleopatra and when we learned about history women’s roles were so important to us. It was compulsory to learn about Marie Curie in science.
Women and girls who go to all female learning facilities learn so much about themselves and grow up so quickly and unashamedly. Girls who hear stories of other women who fight over boys and are constantly jealous of each other bond over the bizarre thought that any man is worth fighting over. Women who are separated from the patriarchy are enraged by it when they come into contact with it.We were taught to sit up straight with our legs crossed as we stared at a man across a table and know that we were just as capable and as powerful as he is. Because that is what a proper feminine young lady should do.
i was sent to an all girls school because my dad wanted to keep me away from boys and now i’m gay
