Three White Football Players Sexually Assaulted Their Black Team Mate After MONTHS of Harassment, in an Almost All White Town And No One is Serving Jail Time, Help us Find Justice in Dietrich Idaho

This is Dietrich Idaho.

According to the 2010 census Dietrich had a population of 334. Over 90% of those 334 people are white. Less than 1% of those people are black, 0.9% to be exact. There are three literally less than 5 black people in Dietrich. 

In May of 2016 a lawsuit came out of Dietrich, filed by the one and only black player on the Dietrich High School football team, alleging teammates racially harassed him for months and eventually sexually assaulted him.

This is John R.K. Howard.

John was the ring leader of a group of players who continually harassed and eventually sexually assaulted their teammate. According to information from the aforementioned lawsuit, Howard led a group of students who regularly called this boy every racist name under the sun. They threw every stereotype imaginable at him. And eventually, while in the locker room alone and vulnerable, they tricked him into thinking they were going to give him a huge for a job well done. And they sexually assaulted him.

It’s graphic. It’s obscene. It’s racist. it’s beyond comprehension that “300 days probation” is the only punishment.

THIS WAS A HATE CRIME. 

THIS WAS A SEXUAL ASSAULT. 

TODAY HE ENTERED A PLEA DEAL AND WON’T SERVE ANYTIME IN JAIL.

THE PROSECUTOR DECIDED TO DROP FELONY CHARGES AND SEXUAL ASSAULT CHARGES. THIS IS A TRAVESTY.

JUST TODAY IT WAS ANNOUNCED THE JUDGE WILL PROBABLY ONLY SENTENCE HIM TO 3 YEARS PROBATION AND 300 DAYS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE.

THAT IS A SLAP ON THE WRIST THAT ENABLES HATE CRIMES LIKE THIS. 

PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO DO WHAT YOU CAN TO HELP MAKE THIS RIGHT
