FUN FUCKING STORY. SO. I had a friend who would wear glasses while skating and that was fine and dandy and all. Well one competition came around and my friend’s Coach made her take off the glasses right before she went on the ice to preform and at the time I was a runner for the skaters scores (so I was hanging out back by the judges). And I s2g that was the best program I has ever seen my friend run. When she was done all the judges were commenting on her facial expression and how wonderfully dramatic the routine was. After her group was done and I posted the scores I went to go congratulate her and she goes “thanks, I couldn’t see anything out there. I was squinting the whole time.” And that’s when I realized that that my friend had just gotten first place because she was blind as a fucking bat.
