THIS IS ALL REALLY TRUE

I’d actually say ‘that many non-Americans find weird’ ^^

Also, the way Americans say “hi, how are you?” and then don’t give you a chance to reply, or look really uncomfortable if you reply with anything other than “fine, thanks.” WELL YOU ASKED.

That price tag thing really bothered me, though.

How DO you tell how much you’re spending. Do you calculate it all in your heads?

we are literally taught in school to calculate tax in our heads, i learned this in the 4th and 5th grade (9-10 years old)
