liberal: i love democracy
liberal: but i don’t think people with poor grammar should vote
liberal: or poor people
liberal: or ignorant people
liberal: or anyone who isn’t college educated like me
liberal: because i believe a university education prepares people for what they face in real life and makes them better informed than anyone else on what happens in all peoples’ day-to-day lives …
liberal: by putting them in a bubble full of upperclass people who have lived upperclass lives
liberal: and by reading badly written poorly researched papers speculating on how poor people live without actually asking them in their social science classes for fun.
liberal: these are the only people I want voting.
