what’s really fucked up because the attack was centered on lgbt+ people… and they’re asking for blood donations… and it’s illegal for lgbt+ people to donate blood… we can’t even help our own community
like imagine how that must feel to want to help your friends who were harmed and desperately need help but being legally barred from giving them the assistance they need. this level of irony is absolutely astounding
Currently they are lifting the ban and allowing everyone to donate regardless of sexuality. It is a really fucking stupid ban in the first place but dont let it think you can’t support your friends, if you are able please donate blood. They are in desperate need of O+, O-, AB plasma as well. Please help if you can.
